Refrigeration pipe network design, in your browser.
What it is
Micropipe sizes and analyses refrigeration pipe networks: dry suction, pumped wet suction, high-pressure liquid, compressor discharge, condenser drain and pumped liquid lines, and hydronic secondary-refrigerant circuits, for all commonly used refrigerants. It runs in the browser on the device you license it for, with nothing to install. Your projects are saved to our server as you work, and you can open, export and print them whenever you return.
What it does
- Calculation and analysis for all commonly used refrigerants, including CO₂ transcritical
- Dry suction, pumped wet suction, high-pressure liquid, compressor discharge, condenser drain and pumped liquid line calculation
- Hydronic circuits for secondary refrigerants and other working fluids, with temperature rise or drop, mass flow and pump head
- Pipe-network or index-circuit calculation modes
- Copper tube to 6⅛″ and schedule 40 steel to 20″, in imperial and metric sizes
- Self-regulating optimisation for a precise fit to the penalty requirement, with uniform pipe-size selection
- Pressures, pressure losses, temperature penalties, velocities, mass and volume flow, sub-cooling requirement and discharge temperature for every circuit and component
- Double or single suction riser calculation with parallel-flow analysis
- Suction-line oil-return analysis for the whole system, with warnings where it falls short
- Node-point pressure losses and penalties calculated automatically
- Dual-pipe and header circuits; individual and global pipe-size fixing
- Flow-path display with manual tracking
- Pipe lengths, system volume, refrigerant charge and density totalled automatically
- Pipe weights per metre in the pipe summary
- Pipe-wall gauge with maximum working and test pressures and safety-device settings
- Pressure/temperature and temperature-penalty/pressure-loss converters
- Import of project files from the previous Windows Micropipe
- Projects saved and kept; export and import; print
- In 26 languages, metric or imperial
Prices
Prices are shown before tax; tax is added at the checkout according to your location. One licence is one device. Buy as many as you need in one order; each key activates one device.
Try it free for 30 days: one device on the annual term. Cancel any time before the trial ends and nothing is charged.
Getting started
- Buy — choose a term and how many devices; the keys arrive by email within a minute.
- Activate — enter a key and your email address on the device you will use; a six-digit code confirms it.
